Just Magnolia Challenge - sketch one

Hello All,

Good Evening!!

I was reading the emails of my group in Brazil and a dearest friend sent a link for this technique that is creating your own background with dry embossing.  Oh, I love the idea and I just could not resist to make one right away. You can find the tutorial here.

For the background I got hearts sizzix embossing plate and added cranberry color box ink on it. 

Well, with my own background paper I decided to make a card to join  this week Just Magnolia challenge that is a sketch one.... I absolutely love sketch challenge!!  and the DT samples are awesome, have you seen them??

I used an image of Tilda with Hearts from Magnolia Stamp, not sure you can see but I added a little bit of stickle on few hearts so they would be a little bit sparkling.

Anyway, I colored Tilda with copics ciao, decorate with flowers from wild orchid craft and from magnolia, white silk ribbon and red adhesive rhinestones.

Oval shape was cut with nestabilities on my big shot! and on the edge is the same ink of the background (cranberry color box).

Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge #8 - Scene Card

Hello Ladies,


How are you today????
I`m pretty fine and happy!!  I got a lot of new Magnolia stamps from Cindy and now have new toys to play with!! lol


So for the challenge #8 at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge that is to make a scene card I decided to use this stamp that is called WILMA W/ROSE. Oh, this stamps is so cuuuutee!!  I love it!!


I also used SHABBY CHIC FENCE to create the scene...  Well, I think this stamp was a perfect match as Wilma is holding a rose on her mouth.... and there is few roses hanging on the fence..

I colored the images with copic ciao markers, decorate with prima and magnolia flowers and half adhesive pearls.  Pattern paper is from Basic Grey Collection Pack 12"X12" SUGARED. All the material used in this card you can find at Stamping Scrapping.

Bookmark Card

Hello All,

I want to show you a bookmark card I made to participate in a friendly competition that was proposed by Cindy from Stamping Scrapping for her Design Team Members only at Stamping Scrapping Design Team Blog.

She is so Sweet, as we cannot win prizes in her blogs, she decided to make a competition for us!!

So, I decided to make this bookmark card  when I saw this tutorial that Dawn made.. so easy and quick!

I used the stamps Wagon with Eggs on the front card and Tilda with Easter Egg on the bookmark

I colored my images with Copics ciao markers, background paper is from K&Company, blue rhinestones, petaloo flowers and I added blue silk ribbon.

Just Magnolia Challenge week 49

Hello Ladies,
Good Evening!!!!


When I saw the challenge at Just Magnolia  and the adorable cards made by  Design Team, I could not resist! 
I always wanted to make a fold card so I checked all the tutorials and chose the one made by DT Dena and the tutorial you can find here.


I received new Magnolia Stamps this week so, of course, I got one from the new ones.. It is Chalerston Tilda.  I colored her with copics ciao markers.


I added some pink rhinestones, pink silk ribbon, flowers are from petaloo, sentiment from Stampin`up and background papers is from K&Company.


This card I`ll give to a very Dear Friend with another project that I`ll post later on as it will be her birthday next month!

Peachy Tilda

Hello Ladies,


I hope you all are keeping well!


Well, today is good friday so I'm off at work.. I got up very early this morning and decided to make a card as my new stamps arrived this week. I'm so happy because I wanted Peachy Tilda, from Magnolia Stamps, so much for a very long time and I finally got it.  woohooo!!    I could not wait any longer to play with her!!  lol lol


I decided to make a card to join 3 challenges with it. They are:


- Our Creative Corner:  sketch
- Basicgrey Challenge: Fruity
- Stamptacular Sunday:  Flower Power

I colored Tilda with copic ciao markers, use basic grey pattern paper for the background, flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft and rhinestones are from Basic Grey.


I added a little bit o green stickles but unfortunately it is not visible!

Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge #7 - Purple color

Hello Maggie Lovers,

Good Morning to All and Happy Fool's day!!!!

I used to trick my parents so much my in April 1st  that today I could not resist and make a card with Giggling Tilda as she seems to me being always fooling around!! hahaha

Ok, this fortnigh the challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers is a color challenge, you have to use purple on your card!! I could not just use a little of it, so I use a lot as it is my fave color!!

I colored my Tilda with my copcis ciao markers, decorated the card with purple sik ribbon and added few half adhesive pearls.

Scalope oval and rectangule were cut wiht nestabilities.

So, don't wait any longer, create a card with purple on it and come to play with us!

Notebook for my Boss

Hello All,


Today I want to show you notebook that I made for my boss. 


My Boss is a such nice Lady from Thailand and She will be going back to her home country in 2 months.


Before I move to this department last september I heard that she was a really tough person to work with.


But during this time we are working together I could find loads of things we like in common, such as: traveling around the world, being in the same place that is not so popular like Patagonia in Chile, like the masterpieces of Gustav Klimt,  we have no children and don`t want to have them etc..  and we got along very very well!!!


She writes books about traveling but in thai language....  I told her she has to publish in english so I could read them too.


Anyway, I like her so much and as she appreciates my handmade cards so I decide to make a 
notebook for her, so he could make notes during her travel.


I used Traveller Tilda and Travel luggagge, colored them with copics ciao markers. 
Background paper is from Basic Grey, rhinestones from Kaisercraft, sentiment is from Stampin`up and flowers are from petaloo.


I will enter this project in to the following challenges:

Bildmalarna & others challenges

Hello Ladies,

I hope you all are having a great weekend so far!!

I receive this Bildmalarna stamp as a gift and decided to join a challenge at Bildmalarna Challenge Blog with it! 

This fortnight is to have embossing and flowers on your card + bildmalarna stamp. Unfortunately I don`t know the name of it, so if you know, please, let me know so I can add this important info in my next posts.

I colored my image with copics ciao, emboss is a sizzix template, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and red rhinestones are from Kaisercfrat.

I also added a little bit of red glitter on the butterflies and flowers.


But when I was checking others challenge blogs I saw that my card qualified for them so, I`m also entering at:

Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge #6 - Die Cut

Hello My Friends,

I hope you all had a great weekend!!! I sure did!

This post is quite special for me because is my first time posting a challenge that I have proposed at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge Blog!!  so I would love if you all could stop by and join me! 

I have proposed to use die cuts on the challenge...  Oh, this little cuts are great and give a special touch in our cards!!

Well, I don`t have many die cuts yet, but I have few nestabilities, so I made my card with it!

I used Spellbinders Nestabilities - MEGA CURVED RECTANGLES shape to  cut the card and cut it on my Sizzix Big Shot Machine.

If you don`t know how to use the die cut, there is a great tutorial at Stamping Scrapping...  You will see that is easy and quick!

For  my card I used a Tilda with Puppy from Magnolia Stamps and colored her with copics ciao markers and cut scalloped oval for Tilda to be sitting on.

Background paper is from Basic Grey and also cut with nestabilities mega curved rectangules....  I added some red half adhesive pearls and petalloo flowers..

Just Magnolia Challenge week 45

Hello All,
I hope your weekend is being great!!


I made this card today to participate in Just Magnolia Challenge this week.
It is to make a tent card. Dena has made the tutorial for this card and the DT has made awesome cards. 


I had a hard time in finding a image for this card and my scaloped oval nestie was not large enough. 


As I did not have a chain to hang Tilda I used a pearl ribbon that I had..  


I colored Tilda with copics ciao markers, flower is from Imaginisce and patter paper is from basic grey!

Another Sketch Challenge

I found another sketch challenge that I really liked and wanted to make a card with it.

I liked the result very much.
This is my first time using this Tilda`s image that I received in a swap. I colored her with copic ciao markers.


Pattern papers are from basic grey and I decorate with petalloo flowers, brads and half adhesive pink pearls.

Magnolia Highlites Challenge - a sketch one

Hello All,


wow, the week is almost over, just one day left!!!  that is so great, isn`t it?!!?!?
It has been a quite while that I haven`t joined Magnolia-licious Highlites but when I saw that it is a sketch challenge I could not resist...  I love sketch challenges....and this one is proposed by the talented Jacque!


Well, I`m no pretty sure I followed the sketch correctly as I think I should have used one more layer of paper.... but now it is too late.. the card is ready!! 


I used this image that I receive from a friend in a swap.. Tilda holding a package... this image is so cute!! and I colored it with copics ciao markers... I put stickles on her wings... so could have a little bit of shining...
  
Flowers are my brand new acquision and I love it.. they are so sparkling...

A new card for 2 challenges

Hello Ladies & Gents, 


Today I want to show you a card that I made to  join 2 challenges.


Cupcake Craft Challenge: Round & Round
Papertake Weekly Challenge:  Buttons, Bows, Brads & Bling


I used Tilda in a petit coat image from Magnolia stamp and I have colored it with ciao copic markers.


I put stickles on her belt and her bow.. it looks so nice.. that is a pity it can`t be seen on the pic. 


I don`t know which patterned paper this is because I received from a friend in a swap.


Sentiment is from Stampin`up and the round papers were cut with nesties.
I had this cute flower button in my jar and I always like to put it in the middle of the sentiment. I think it looks nice!


I also put 3 silver round brads on the top left corner of the card!  to complete the challenge I put red  silk ribbon.

A Boy Card

Hello Ladies,


I hope you all are keeping well.


I had made this card few days ago and I couldn`t find any challenge to enter with it till today when I check Roses on Paper Challenge Blog.


The challenge is to make a card for boy/man.


I used Edwin holding roses on his back image from Magnolia Stamp, colored it with copics ciao markers and decorate with yellow round brads & brown ribbon.


I love ribbon so I thought if I don`t make a bow, it is ok for boy`s cards. What do  you think?

Oh, what a great combination those colors are!!

I decided to used Cross Stitched Tilda from Magnolia Stamp.  you can find this stamp to buy at Stamping Scrapping here.  Tilda was colored with copics ciao markers.

I have embossed the brown paper #327589 Sizzix Texturz Plates - KIT 3  and added silk pink ribbon on it!
