3 Clovers Thursday Challenge #15

Hello Ladies, Today is day for 3 Clovers Thrusday Challenge!! woohoo!! I just love this challenge blog, the DT has so many great ideas to make cards!!!! Cards made by them are absolutely fantastic!! Today`s challenge is to make a Ship-Shape Card. What is that?!?!!? you might be asking... They are cards not in the shape of a rectangle or square!! Oh, I thought it was an awesome idea, as I have never made a card in other shape than rectangle or square, this was a great oportunity to give a shot!! So, I thought about this during my work today, how I would do that!! Well, As I have round shape nesties , I thought I could use the largest one to make the card and the two smaller sizes ones to compose the card... outside and inside! Ok, that was set in my mind!!! So, now let`s see which stamp I would use for this week. As the size of the card is not big, I had to choose a stamp that would fit the card. So I remember of a Magnolia stamp , Tilda w/ Bandage, that I bought few months ago and had never used! Well and when I checked, Tilda w/bandage was perfect for it! I used my CIAO copic markers to color Tilda. So, here is my card: Here is the inside of the card:
And here poor Tilda:
I had a lot of fun making this card... so now I want to try this with quilling technique... I will post a photo when I make it.
So, what you think about it, did I make it right?? Did you like it??
Hugs,
Vivi

Simons Says Challenge Blog

Good Evening Ladies!!!! Today, at Simons Says Challenge Blog, the challenge is to make a card using animal theme!! As I still am new to stamping and am still buying my collection of stamps, I don't have anyone of Simons Says stamps yet... But as it was not mandatory to use a Simons' stamp to join the challenge I made a card using my Whipper Snapper Design stamp and colored it with CIAO copic markers. I have to tell you that I'm really enjoying these markers now. As I'm practicing a little bit of coloring every day, my coloring is getting better! woohooo... I'm really happy with that!! The sketch that I used is the same one that I used with sheep stamp (also by WSD) on it, you can see it on here. And as a friend of mine asked me to make a card like that but with no sheep one it, I made this card for her and to join Simons Says Challenge. Here goes my card: So, that is my card. If you can leave a comment, I will be happy to read it! Hugs Vivi

Challege # 13 My Fave Colour Combo

Good Night Ladies, it almost bed time for me (22h50 S Paulo time) but I had to make this card before to go to bed as I had it in my mind all day long today! When I was checking the challenge blogs today and I saw The Corrovise Challenge Blog that the challenge was to use Black, Red and White colors. Well, I know I have just made a card with the same colors to join other challenge, but I had a piece of black and white paper and a new stamp that I bought a while back ago so, I though this was perfect timing for that! The stamp I used is called Girls and I bought in Panduro Hobby online shop. First time I saw this stamp was in someone's blog, I can't remember who from, but I thought it was so cute that I had to buy for myself... Anyway, now I have it and can use it on my cards. This little girl was colored with CIAO Copics markers. So, check it out: If you can, leave a comment, I'd love to read it! Well, bed time now... have to get up early tomorrow morning to go to work! Sweet Dreams! Hugs Vivi

My Tilda

Hi Ladies, Today, I have something different to show you. And it is nothing to do with quilling!! lol Few weeks ago, a friend of Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group sent a link with a beautiful Tilda doll as many of us are in love with Magnolia Stamps. Well, when I saw that pic I got absolutely crazy!!!! OMG, a Tilda doll???!!!!!!! I just thought in one thing: I want a doll for me too!! I need to have this doll too!!! My Tilda is GORGEOUS!! I just love everything about her!! Thank you so much Julia for making this doll for me! You are so TALENTED!!! Now, I have my little girl sitting on the table, where I can easily see her when I am in the living room. So, enough of talking and take a look of my little Tilda:

Birthday Cards for Boys

Hi Ladies, I was asked by a Friend at work to make 3 birthday cards for boys using the quilling technique. I have to confess that I have difficulties to come up with ideas for masculine cards. As in this case the cards are for children, they had to be something that children would like. I thought in dogs, birthday cake, candles, ballons, dinosaures, dragon, airplanes, rockets and few others things... So, I want to show you what I made today... of course, I picked the easiest ones:
If you can leave a comment, I'll be happy to read it!

Quilling order finnally done

Hi Ladies, I want to share with you that I have finnally finished to make my 500 messages holder order! I just cannot believe, It took me over a month to make them as I could work on them only evening and weekends!!! I made 3,500 folded red roses & 500 quilled vases. This order was made to given as a gift in a Convention of Nurses!!! It is just awesome to know that there will be 500 people with my little creation... Cheering them up!! Here goes a pic of the first batch I made (they were 50 message holders).. I didn't take photo of the others 450... as they were all the same...
If you want to take a peek in others quilling works that I do, please, pay a visit on my website: http://www.quillingbyvivi.com/
Now, I can dedicate more time making cards and playing more with my little girl Tilda and the others stamps that I bought and didn't have chance to use them! Hugs,

Unfortunately this card will get her in, at least, 2 weeks, but I hope she likes it! Well, this time I did not follow any sketch, so this is what I made:
I hope you liked my card!

Magnolia`s May Sketch Challenge

Hi, As I told you in my other post, I made few cards today so the next one I'm showing in here is the one I made to join the Magnolia-licious Challenge - May Sketch. This month the sketch was drawn by Sharon Caudle and it was my first time joining this challenge. I must say I was quite excited about joining it and very worried too, the cards made by the Ladies in this group are just fabulous that I didn't want to get embarassed by my simple card. Anyway, I thought to give a shoot, make it and send it to Diana. So, let me show you what I made:
So, What do you think about my card? I`d love to know.
Hugs,
Vivi

3 Clovers Thursday - Challenge # 11

This week we have a sketch to follow, so here goes the sketch: Well, it seems easy one at glance, but I have to confess, I had to put a lot of thought on it. I had to get the right embellishments that fit the sketch, papers size etc. After finding all the goodies, it was easy to put all together. This is the result:
Recipe: - Image from Magnolia Stamps;
- Colored with CIAO Copic Markers;
- Baubles;
- Purple & Lavender Flowers;
- Purple Cha Ching Brad
- Lilac Ribbon
Well, I hope you like my card and leave a comment. I'd love to know what you think about it!
Hugs,
Vivi
