Japanese Tilda

Hello Friends,


Today I have new creation to show you! It is a bookmark I made specially for he Book Endz club I have joined.


We have to read a book in a month and make a card for the theme... So first title  we are reading is Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See...  I`m in the beginning of the book but the story is getting very interesting... my friends from the club are saying that they cant put the book down.... I love when that happens! hehe and cant wait to read it all so we can chit chat about it!!! eheh


So, Suzanne is asking us to make a project based in Asian, Oriental, Friendship...  Well, I could not make other thing than a bookmark to use it while I`m reading the book..


So I picked Japanese Tilda for my bookmark, take a look:

Background paper used in here is from Japan that I friend of mine gave to me as gift!

I have added stickles all around the rectangule where Tilda is placed. 

I added on the 4 corners glitter dots and I have colored my Tilda using copic markers.

I`m entering this bookmark in the following challenges:

- Come and Get it Challenges: anything goes

-  Crafts for Eternity: anything but a card

Just Magnolia Challenge - sketch one

Hello All,

Good Evening!!

I was reading the emails of my group in Brazil and a dearest friend sent a link for this technique that is creating your own background with dry embossing.  Oh, I love the idea and I just could not resist to make one right away. You can find the tutorial here.

For the background I got hearts sizzix embossing plate and added cranberry color box ink on it. 

Well, with my own background paper I decided to make a card to join  this week Just Magnolia challenge that is a sketch one.... I absolutely love sketch challenge!!  and the DT samples are awesome, have you seen them??

I used an image of Tilda with Hearts from Magnolia Stamp, not sure you can see but I added a little bit of stickle on few hearts so they would be a little bit sparkling.

Anyway, I colored Tilda with copics ciao, decorate with flowers from wild orchid craft and from magnolia, white silk ribbon and red adhesive rhinestones.

Oval shape was cut with nestabilities on my big shot! and on the edge is the same ink of the background (cranberry color box).

Just Magnolia Challenge Blog

Hello Ladies,

Good Evening to all of you and I wish you are having a great weekend.

I made a card to join Just Magnolia Challenge this week and is to make a Birthday card.

It has been a long time I used this stamp from Magnolia Stamps and I think this is so cute so I decided to go with it.

I don't  usually make blue cards for girls, so I decided to use blue color today and I kind like it very much!

I colored Tilda ice ballet princess with copic ciao markers. I added blue petalloo flowers and put a blue round brad to hold the flower.  I also added 3 light blue half pearls... I love those pearls from Kaiser craft, they are so cute!

oh, almost forgot to mention that I add a light blue silk ribbon and a darker blue ribbon!

Paper is so nice, it is written congratulations all over of it with many different fonts.

Just Magnolia - Week 31 - Sketch by Mina

Hello Ladies,

I hope you all had a great week and your weekend is being wonderful so far!

I made a card to join Just Magnolia Challenge week 31 that is a sketch by Mina.

I used the little cute giggling Tilda from Magnolias stamps and colored with copics, sentiment from stampin`up, flowers are made using quilling tecnhique.

For the oval shapes I cut with nesties.

Eu escolhi a menininha fofinha Tilda dos carimbos Magnolia que foi colorida com as canetas copics, sentimento eh dos carimbos stampin`up, as flores foram feitas com a tecnica quilling e o oval foi cortado com nestabilities

Just Magnolia - Week 26

Good Evening Ladies, I got the chance to make another card today, now to join Just Magnolia Challenge - week 26 - a sketch by Mina. The sketch is great and so nice to play with.. I just love it!! I was asked by a friend to make a gift card holder for a birthday so I got Tilda holding a tag so I could write Happy Birthday down. I colored Tilda with copic markers, decorated with quilled flowers and used pink silk ribbon! Background paper is Basic Grey - sultry - I love that paper... Check the sketch out first: Boa Noite a Todos!! Tive a oportunidade de fazer mais um cartao hoje, agora para participar do desafio no blog Just Magnolia - Semana 26 - modelo da Mina. Este modelo de cartao é demais e super gostoso de fazer! Eu adorei!! Me pediram para fazer um cartao porta vale presente, entao usei uma imagem da Tilda segunrando um cartaozinho, assim pude escrever happy birthday nele! Colori a imagem com as canetas copics, decorei o cartão com flores feitas com a tecnica quilling e coloquei fita de seda na cor pink! Eu simplesmente adorei o resultado. First Monthly Challenge in Just Magnolia

Hi Ladies,

here goes my 2nd post today.

When I saw this challenge at Just Magnolia, thought it was perfect: "...the challenge is to alter a container - ANY container - for example a recycled paper bag, a empty box of chocolates, a custom made box, a canvas bag, a tin, a plastic tub..." because I had a watch metal tin that I thought to decorate it and to put it on my desk at work. So it would be a great opportunity for this.

But have you checked the prize tfor the lucky winner that will be choosen randomly?

Not yet?? so here is the prize: $50 voucher to spend on what you want in Simon Says Store.

So I had to participate in it, and here is my creation:

Stamp is from Magnolia Store from Chasing Butterfly collection that I received from a friend of Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group. and I colored my Tilda with copic markers.
