This morning I decided to color few images to pratice coloring a little bit as I'm taking Suzanne Dean's classes. The technique I tried was shading hair and wood.
I picked Tilda with Violin image because I thought would be easy for shading but I was wrong.. it is very tricky to color the dress and have the right shades... Well, this one my first one and I'm not happy with it but it is the first try.
Now, hair and wood coloring are fine... I liked how those looked like!!!
So, here goes my card:
OK, as I had colored this image I decided to make a card with it so, I'm going to participate in few challenges. They are:
In the end I liked how the card turned out.. I think it is because I made it on my fave color, purple!! lol...

I think you made a great job of colouring this image Vivi. I'm taking Suzanne's class for beginners and am slowly improving, but you look like you're making great progress.
I love this image, but have never tried to colour her in purple. I may give it go as I think your card looks fabulous.

Your card looks fine to me, Vivi -- you're just being too demanding of yourself -- give yourself a break! This is a very pretty layout and like you say, purple is a great color to work with!
