Anything but a card Challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

Hello Friends,

It is my turn to host a challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central Blog and I’m proposing to do different creation this fortnight so I’d love to see ANYTHING BUT A CARD. 

As we do cards all the time let’s now decorate  a box, bag, tin, notebook , book marker etc.. you use your imagination

I received a white wooden box from a friend few months ago and thought would be nice to decorate it so I could keep nice things in it..

So here it is:

Oh you see, this time I used a different image than Magnolia Stamps lol lol.
Do you know this one?  It is called  Heidi from C.C Design Stamps and she is available for sale at Stamping Scrapping Online Store.

Isn’t she cute?  This is my first time using a C.C Design Stamps and I love it.. so easy to color…
I colored her with copic markers, decorate the box pink rhinestones, white flower is from Prima and ribbons & papers are from my stash.

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central - Paper Piecing Technique Challenge

Hello Friends,

It is my turn to show a card for paper piecing technique at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central Blog!   Oh boy, I just love this technique.. It is so cool and the images look so great!!

I've chosen Tilda with flowing hair and Wilma with rose from Magnolia Stamps for my card!
I paper pieced Tilda's dress and Wilma's lace.

I colored both images with copics markers!! Have you tried those markers?
They are awesome and it is a must have!! Our sponsor, Cindy from Stamping Scrapping, has suggestions of set of colors for you to color your Magnolias or others stamps.. Have you seen it?? if not, then you can see it here.
I used half adhesive pearls from kaiser craft, prima flowers and flower soft for the grass to decorate my card.

Tilda with Violin

Hello Friends,


I hope your weekend is great so far!!


This morning I decided to color few images to pratice coloring a little bit as I'm taking Suzanne Dean's classes. The technique I tried was shading hair and wood.


I picked Tilda with Violin image because I thought would be easy for shading but I was wrong.. it is very tricky to color the dress and have the right shades... Well, this one my first one and I'm not happy with it but it is the first try.

Now, hair and wood  coloring are fine... I liked how those looked like!!!

So, here goes my card:

OK, as I had colored this image I decided to make a card with it so, I'm going to participate in few challenges. They are:

- Just Magnolia:  sentiment

- The Sweet Stop:  sketch

- So Desafios:  Flowers and Leaves

In the end I liked how the card turned out.. I think it is because I made it on my fave color, purple!! lol...

Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge: Brown & Turquoise color combo

Hello Friends,

Today I want to show you a card I made for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge Blog  which has a color combo challenge: Turquoise & Brown.

I almost never make a card with those 2 colors, but I must say I love to play with them.
This is my first time coloring Tilda with Spring Bundle from Magnolia Stamps.  What a fun… this is a stamped image that I received from a swap but now I have to get this stamp for me… 

I colored Tilda with copics markers,   decorate with brown half adhesive pearls from Kaiser kraft, flower is from Prima. Design papers are from Dearest Friends and silk ribbon from my stash.

This card is also for the Flowers and leaves challenge at So Desafios Blog.

Color Combo Challenge at House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog

 Hello Friends,

it is time to show you my card for the color combo challenge at House Mouse & Friends Challenge Blog.
Color combo chosen is orange, red and yellow.  That is a great color combo!!  I  liked very much to play with them.

I used I give you my hear stamp from House Mouse….  I liked this one very much… I think is so sweet.. I made a 3D with the heart and one of the mouses. Check it out:

 

I colored the image wiht copic markers.  I decorate the card with red rinhestones and design papers are from K&Company.

So Desafios Blog = desafio nr.5

Ola a Todas!!

Hoje tem um novo desafio no Blog Só Desafios onde o desafio é fazer um cartao no formato Easel, ou seja, Cavalete.


Eu adoro fazer cartão neste modelo, além de fácil fica super lindo....



Para a imagem eu usei Kissing Edwin Sitting  e a Tilda que infelizmente não me lembro o nome do carimbo.  Usei a tecnica masking!

Voce pode adquirir os carimbos Magnolia comigo através do meu blog Mad About Magnolias.

Tenho vários carimbos pronta entrega e se voce não encontrar algum carimbo que queira, me envie um email que eu posso encomendar para voce!

Bem, falando mais sobre o cartão, a imagem eu colori com as canetas copics, os papeis eu ganhei de presente de uma amiga, decorei com bailarina quadrada dourada e usei tambem flower soft para fazer a grama.

Veja de mais perto o efeito do flower soft!

Vou aproveitar e participar do desafio no blog Magnolia Down Under que é fazer um easel card.

Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge - using Edwin

Hello Magnolia Lovers,

Today is my turn  to show you a card for  the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge that is to use a Edwin.
I must confess I  don't use Edwins so much as it is too hard for me to make a masculine card, so this was a quite challing for me too!

Anyway, I used 909 ROSE EDWIN from Magnolia Stamps that are in stock right now at Stamping Scrapping.


To color my image I used copcis markers and added silver rounded brads and DP, both are from my stash.
I decided to use this week's sketch from Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog to help me out.. so I'm entering this card into their challenge.

For the image I used Tilda with Cake from Magnolia stamps and colored her with copic markers. DP was a gift from a Dear Friend, half adhesive pearls are from kaisercraft and ribbons from my stash.

For this card I used the image Tilda with Rose from Magnolia Stamps that is available for sale at Stamping Scrapping.

I colored this image with copics markers and used a little bit o copic spica on the wings... it is a pitty that it can't be seen. 

I added red Prima Flowers, red half adhesive pearls from Kaisercraft .

I'm entering this card in a sketch challenge at The Sweet Shop Blog Challenge.

Este é o desafio nr.3 e o desafio é fazer um cartao com as cores vermelha,branca e preta e adicionar brilho e borboleta.

I colored Tilda from Magnolia Stamps with my copic markers. I added red & white silk ribbons, red roses from Wild Orchid Craft and red Rhinestones from Kaisercraft.

Para colorir a Tilda dos carimbos Magnolia eu usei as canetas copic markers. Adicionei fitas de cetim branca e vermelha, flores vermelhas  wild orchid  craft e cristais da kaisercraft!
